The Feel
Redhawk is one of the custom-home enclaves inside The Ridges, the guard-gated village on Summerlin's western edge, about 3,100 feet above sea level. Past the main guard gate, Redhawk has a gate of its own. Behind it, Hawk Ridge Drive runs through the neighborhood, and its 82 homesites hold large custom homes on lots of up to an acre.
Every home was designed for its lot, so the street changes character from one driveway to the next. The first house went up in 2006 and building never really stopped; a home that sold in October 2026 was finished in 2024. That spread of years separates Redhawk from Promontory, where custom building in The Ridges began in 2002, and from Azure, which started in 2009. Views depend on the lot, with the valley to the east and Red Rock to the west. Owners share Club Ridges, the residents' fitness, tennis and pool club.

What Buyers Should Know
- On the MLS, Redhawk homes carry the subdivision name "THE RIDGES - REDHAWK" under the community "The Ridges," or you can search by Hawk Ridge Drive.
- Age matters more here than in a neighborhood built all at once. A 2006 home and a 2024 home can sit near each other with systems, glass and finishes a generation apart, and that shows in price per square foot. In October 2026 one home closed at $8,550,000; two others were listed at $8,500,000 and $14,999,000.
- Budget for both sets of dues and plan on design review for any exterior change.
- A home here does not include golf. Play on the old Bear's Best course stopped in June 2025 for the rebuild, and Amara Golf Club membership is a separate purchase through the club.
