Guard-gated homes with a European look and mountain views, on the west side of Las Vegas just east of Summerlin.
Queensridge sits along West Charleston Boulevard in the City of Las Vegas, inside the Peccole Ranch master plan the city first approved in 1989. Peccole Nevada Corp., the Peccole family's company, started building Queensridge in the mid-1990s. Each of the two main guard gates is marked by copper-green horse statues. The "two-horse" entrance off Charleston opens into Queensridge South, and the smaller "one-horse" entrance off Alta Drive serves Queensridge North. Inside, the architecture leans European, with French, English, Italian and Mediterranean influences.
The housing covers a lot of ground, from townhomes and single-family homes to custom and semi-custom estates on oversized homesites. Then there are the two high-rise towers of One Queensridge Place, where many residences look out toward the Strip and Red Rock Canyon.
Owners have a clubhouse, pool and spa, fitness center and walking trails, though which of those you can use depends on your section. For errands or dinner out, Tivoli Village is at Rampart and Alta, and Boca Park is close by. Downtown Summerlin and Red Rock Canyon are both to the west.
Queensridge was built around the Badlands Golf Club, which closed in 2016. On February 19, 2025, the Las Vegas City Council approved a plan for the former course land (case 24-0629): 1,480 homes on about 253 acres, mixing single-family homes, townhomes and condos, with about 99 acres kept as open space. The land sold in March 2025, and Lennar is building the new community, which it calls The Preserve.
Site work is underway. In October 2026, homesites and roads were taking shape near Alta Drive and Hualapai Way, where the City’s records show a first phase of 65 single-family lots. Lennar hasn’t posted prices or an opening date yet. The City’s case file has the approved plan, the maps and the conditions, including where tree buffers are required.
